Company Information: Founded in 1959, Peppermint Ridge is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing loving homes and empowering support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, gently guiding these special people toward greater independence and fuller community participation. Because of the help from many churches, organizations, service clubs and a caring community, 94 men and women are able to call 'The Ridge' home. Others, who live in their own homes, are given support so that they can continue to live independently. A broad base of financial and volunteer support allows The Ridge to offer a wide variety of residential options and training opportunities for its clients. As a supportive and loving community which nurtures every member and encourages each one to become more self-sufficient and responsible, Peppermint Ridge is more than a place to live - it's "Home."Today, there are five homes on the main campus and six homes in the community.
